Eating non-chemical breads is a lot healthy but eating breads with chemicals is very unhealthy. So in this experiment you will see which bread contains chemicals and which bread does not by growing mould!
Materials:
Different kinds of breads (example: homemade bread, local bakery’s bread.)
Water
Plates
Instructions
Put the samples of the bread on one plate each.
Everyday sprinkle some water on the bread don’t let it dry.
Observe: After a few days you will observe that the breads are turning their color to black and white this black or white color is Mould. The bread on which the mould grows the fastest does not contains any chemicals the bread on which the mould grows the slowest has chemicals in it.
HOW IS THIS SO?
These days’ bread factories are adding chemicals to the bread to prevent the growth of mould. This keeps the bread fresh for longer days!
