Do you know what heats up faster : land or water?? Well if you don't try this experiment out!!
Materials:
2 paper cups
Water
Sand
2 thermometers

Instructions
Fill one cup with water and other with sand.
Place them in the refrigerator
for 10 to 15 minutes.
for 10 to 15 minutes.Now place these two cups outside when it is very hot and put the thermometer in each cup but don't keep the cups in the shade!!
After 15 minutes you will see that the temperature is higher in the cup containing sand!!
