Let's see how to stop boiling water by a scientific way!!!
Materials:
Pot containing water
A stove
Many ice cubes
Set the pot containing water on stove and turn the burner on high. When the water starts boiling add the ice cubes.
Observe: After you put the ice into the water it stops boiling. This is the Second Law Of Thermodynamics. This law means that the burner will first flow to the coldest object. So the burner makes the ice melt. While the ice is melting the water stops to boil. After the ice melts the water will start to boil again.
CAUTION: Boiling of water should be done in adult supervision.
