Let's prove evaporation and condensation takes place!
Materials
A clean dry glass jar with a lid
A small piece of cotton soaked in water

A small piece of cotton soaked in water
Instructions
Put the cotton soaked in water into the glass jar and close the lid.
Place it outdoors where sunshine is available and leave it there for 1 hour.
Observe: You will notice that tiny droplets of water are sticking to the upper-inner surface of the glass jar. It is because the water in the cotton changes into vapor on absorbing heat energy is called Evaporation
The water vapor on coming into contact with upper cold surface of glass jar condenses to form tiny droplets of water. This process is known as Condensation
