HOW TO MAKE A COIN FLOAT ON WATER??

Can you make a coin float on water? You can't? Then try this experiment!


Materials:
A coin
A glass of water
Cup
Blu tack
A non transparent china or a plastic cup

Instructions

Place the blu tack in the middle of the coin and place the blu tacked coin in the middle of the cup.


Position the coin so that it would not move when water is poured.
Pour little water (do not fill in the cup)


Now move back until you cannot see the coin inside the cup anymore and pour some water from where you are standing. AND VOILA!! The coin magically rises!!

This is just an optical illusion! The coin does not actually floats up!

A BOTTLE FULL OF WATER THAT HAS A HOLE IN IT............... DOES NOT LEAKS!!!!!!!

Can you make a hole in a bottle full of water but....... NOT MAKE THE LIQUID SPILL????


Materials:
A empty, clean plastic bottle with a screw on lid.
A pushpin
Water

Instructions

With the push pin, poke a hole in the bottle near the bottom and leave the pushpin stuck in the bottle.

Hold your thumb against the pushpin . And fill the bottle with water till the brim, and screw on the cap.

Continue this experiment in the kitchen sink.

Remove the pushpin.

Observe: The water pours out through the hole at first and then stops!!!

What happens???

The air pressure inside the bottle was strong, but the air pressure outside the bottle was even stronger. The outside pressure caused the water to stop flowing.
