HOW TO MAKE A MINI MODLE OF A TWISTER???

Twister is another name for tornado. Tornado is destructive, swirling column of air that creates a funnel-shaped cloud that can lift houses of the ground! Do you want to create a mini twister of your own? Than let's do this experiment!!

Materials:
A clear 1 liter plastic bottle.
Salt
Clear liquid dish detergent
Water
Measuring spoons
Scale/ruler
Toothpick
Small objects like- Paper clips, rubber bands, Toothpicks, small coins (pennies, dimes), etc.

Instructions

Fill the bottle with water, leaving around 3.7cm at the top.

For every liter of water, add 1 teaspoon of salt, adjust the proportions if the bottle is larger or smaller than a liter.

Screw on the lid and shake until the salt is dissolved completely. If the water looks cloudy set it aside until the water is clear if it is already cleared go on with the experiment.
Take the toothpick and dip the toothpick into the liquid detergent. Now make sure that you drop only one drop of the detergent, do not put more than one drop

Add the objects into the bottle and screw on the lid.

Now set the bottle on the table and using both hands rotate the bottle as fast as possible in counter clockwise direction

Observe: The objects you have added into the water are spinning in the twister!!!
